Sharp eye, George.  Interesting -- I met the Rohloff agent in Tronna on a visit there in 2017.  He did a once-over on my hub, and flipped the sprocket, but didn't mention any Thorn in the neighbourhood.  Maybe this one is less than 2 years old?

Rohloff has a decal, not engraved label on it.  Not sure when they changed that but my 2013 has the engraved hub, not a decal.  So, older than 2013.

Tires are Marathon XR from the photo.  I do not recall how long ago the XR were taken out of production, but I recall reading of several long distance cyclists that wanted to stock up on them upon hearing that they were out of production.  That might be close to a decade ago.

I bought one folding XR soon after that, put it in a plastic bag in storage and about a year ago when one of my (now discontinued) Hutchinson Globetrotters had a casing failure, put the XR on the front wheel of my Lynskey.

That bike on Ebay is in great shape.  Looks like it was stored carefully indoors.
