Title: Touring Weight Raven Sport Tour

Hi, what sort of weight can the Raven Sport Tour carry? I know that Thorn state 14kg but was interested in people's experiences?

I use the RST with two panniers and a bar bag. Not sure of the weight but I’d guess 10-15 kg. It handles that absolutely fine. I’d be happy with some small panniers on the front as well f I ever needed to. It’s a very strong bike.  Have a look at some pictures by Fred A-M in about 2007. He seemed to carry a large touring load IIRC.

Thanks, I have had the same set up as you said and was looking at some cages on the forks, I know that I read, on this site, someone carried much more. If you are wild camping and cooking the weigh soon adds up.
