Very suspicious circumstances. I hope that if it was stolen, the original owner can be found.

The other possibility is a widow or kids who don't know what their late dad's bike is worth.

Good for the finder, hope they enjoy the bike, but what a shame that some people jump to the worst case scenario when it was just one of several.
