Seller says I09642TR is stamped under the BB.  I've no idea what that means.

04/1996, I think TR might be a mis-read if its PR it would be one of our frame builders initials back then.

In your opinions would this bike be worth turning into a touring bike? If so could I rely on such an old frame?
