Ironically, your question was your 50th post, which means that you have been promoted to "Jr. Member". If you didn't ask, you would still be a Newbie.

Dave's right, Janet...you stop being a newbie when you make more posts!  :D

Each membergroup is tier-based and depends on the number of posts made. Before our last Software upgrade, there were a number of membergroups culminating in "UltraSuperHero". I've gone with the SMF software defaults since the upgrade, but will happily consider adding tiers if there is sufficient demand.

We tend to go for quality over quantity and this avoids the "post competitions" that charactried several threads in the earliest days of the Forum.
