While looking for my brake paperwork I came across these.

Any thoughts on what they are used for?

Light mounting brackets for the Thorn Expedition rear rack.

These look a little different in the photos because they are inverted/upside-down.

I am picking up some photo skills! I used a 4x6 index card between the plate and my rear light so the camera could figure out how to focus:
