Sure Brexit is causing a bit of world havoc, but onto the really important question. Bike and bike part prices. Will there be any Thorn bargains for Aussie buyers?
The GBP is heading in the right direction for us.

in theory yes. Assuming Thorn don't put their prices up because the materials and parts come from outside the UK and therefore cost more.

Thanks for confirming that bike pricing is a complicated business.
To be honest, as an owner/user of two great Thorn Bikes, I'd buy Thorn bikes for their quality within the normal range of currency fluctuations. Brexit currency change adds the sauce. Suddenly they are a bit more affordable.

I would be interested to know of anyone's experience with import tax in Aust. and especially NZ with Thorn bikes/parts?
Thanks
Jane

When we built up 2 thorns in late 2012 it was about 68P to 1aud.
Now that was a deal!
