Title: It's not an electric motor!

Mary and I passed a new club member going up a hill in gear seven on a recent club run and were acused of running an electric motor!

We now have over 6,000km on our Thorn tandem but obviously gear seven still sounds noisy to some!

Perhaps they were suspicious because of your speed, not the sound.
