Here's my Cyclosportif at the finish line, looking as shabby as me!

Anyway, I know of at least one other Thorn owner to finish because we finished at exactly the same time! It was a guy from Audax Escose riding a blue/red Audax Mk.2 and I believe there was at least one other Thorn finisher.

Congratulations!  My Max is 322km in a day, I have no idea how you even managed 323km never mind 1225km.

Much respect.

Food! You'll never starve on PBP (as long as you have sufficient Euro). I stuffed myself silly!

"After having a nightmare that I was in a mass participation cycling event in a cold and wet North West France I was shaken awake at midnight to find that I was indeed in a mass participation cycling event in a cold and wet North West France."

Fantastic!

It's blowing a gale here and I wasn't going to go out unless it calmed down. Now I'm going out!

A little late, but congratulations.  The ride report made interesting reading.  That's a severe test for bike as well as rider, are you still as happy with it?

Comfort wise? A resounding yes! Mr. Brooks took care of my derriere and my only problems were a twinge in my right shoulder and a numb right foot. I certainly can't blame my numb right foot on the bike!

Now if only the head tube was longer so I could lose a spacer...
