Title: Do SJS still service Thorn Bikes ?

It is Easter weekend and SJS Cycles is shut.
Does any one know if they still service/repair Thorn Bikes please.
Oh yes, Happy Easter, it's raining and a gale is blowing here at present, so it must be a Bank Holiday !

I think I'm correct in saying that SJS are closed at the weekends. Gone riding at a guess. I'm sure they'd be delighted to service your bike. Why dont you call them after the bank holiday.

Thanks for that, but I need to know asap as we are booking a holiday.  Now they have gone over to an "Internet Only" business I was wondering if they had finished with the bike repairs side.
It's still raining !

When I bought my Nomad from them last year I asked about servicing and they said they would be happy to do it...but if I had a local dealer that was nearer then most tasks could be done by them if I wished.

The only drawback that brings has been highlighted by a friend who had his done locally, requested certain parts and non OE parts were fitted instead. They only had to ring SJS but didn't.  :(

Thanks StillOld, that was my worry too.  Will ring them on Tuesday.

  After thought : They still service bikes bought from them.

They serviced my Nomad last year.....and I don't think anything has changed since then.

Delivered RST to SJS.  Dave told me to return in 2 hours.  Came back and everything now fine , no more creaks or grunching.
