HELP!
As the title says really. No matter how I try I can't get the drain plug screw to budge...and I don't want to try too hard because I'm already worried I might be rounding off the bolt.
Any tips to GENTLY coerce out the bolt? Obviously I can't resort to my usual method of freeing sticky bolts, which is soak the whole thing in plusgas or similar...!

The Drain plug should have been lock-tighted in place, if the wrong lock-tight was used then it would be a very difficult to remove the plug, however they may be a way! All Lock-tight brakes down at just over 100C therefore if you can borrow a soldering iron with a clean tip warm up the grub screw for 2 minutes and then try.
Good luck

When you refit the drain plug, degrease it and it's hole (use a q-tip) and put some Loktite nutlock on it - just in case it comes undone!

Any progress David?

It's out!
Had one more go at it yesterday, as a triumph of hope over experience. Mole grips on the end of a ball-end allen key for extra leverage and lo and behold it budged!
Oil change now done!
