Anto,
This is where Irish tinkers start!
One massive problem, it appears that an electrically powered bike is required?
This in my mind makes this a motorised form of transport as much as I would love to build one.
I can see me as a camper loving this but not the electrics!!!

take a good look at the bike John   cracking bike and the battery wouldnt bother me one iota ,he also hasthe charging  problem sussed with the polar panel  smart thinkng.
now sying all that i'll stick with 2 rear panniers and barbag  ;D ;D
still its good to see what others get up to.
away to me bed im just home from hospital my head is  cabbaged.(ALL went Well thang god.)
