3 years and 13,000 miles later we've enjoyed some lovely times together.

Those photos look like: "Have bike, have already travelled."

I think you can tell that i'm over the moon with my Sherpa as it rides perfectly. What i haven't mentioned is that after 13,000 miles the wheels are as true as day one. Now i'm no weight weenie. I weigh about 80kg and my bike and stuff weighs 45kg when touring. I've done 2 tours on this bike that were around 1000 each. I've also done smaller tours of a few hundred miles or so.
While touring the terrain has been mostly road and path but i've hit some seriously rutty bumpy nasty stuff and the wheels have stayed true.
I also use the bike for general commuting and some "off road" day rides.
So a big thumbs up to the wheel builder at Thorn.

I'm also at about 13K miles and my wheels are good as new!

Yes, it seems such a surprise these days when a product actually delivers what it promised.

What a nice and positive check-in, Biker, and I thoroughly enjoyed your blog and photos.
Here's to another 3 years, repeated again and again, and many more happy miles on a corker of a bike. It looks fantastic!
Best,
Dan.

Hello all,
Whilst out cycling (on my Condor) yesterday, I quite coincidentally 'bumped' into bikerwaser in Bournemouth.
He has a Sherpa (Black) which is neutralised with black covering so as to look not worth stealing. It has had loads of use and loads more to come I think.
Anyhow a face met another face from the Forum.
All the best to all,
John
