Hi,
I have Ortlieb Back Roller Plus panniers and was thinking of matching these with an Ortlieb Rack Pack similar to the following:
http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/ortlieb-rack-pack-31ltr-prod15610/ (http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/ortlieb-rack-pack-31ltr-prod15610/)
What is the maximum size I can get away with without it overhanging the rear panniers if mounted horizontally across the top of them?
Thanks,
Richard :)

I have the 31 litre Ortlieb Rack Pack (Size Medium) and according to Ortlieb's web site, this is the largest that can be clipped on top of the rear panniers.
In use it fits perfectly without overhanging the panniers. I would say the next size up would not work/be recommended.

I've been using this one (http://www.rosebikes.com/article/ortlieb-x-plorer-25266/aid:244985) - 59L and it certainly seems to ride well on my rear rack. I would usually only ever have about 30-35L in use.

An advantage is the backpack straps, so that if I wish it can be multi-purpose - used for shopping, walking about town while sightseeing, or even for a day-hike or basic overnight hike.
