very sad to see this go as my knee has now totally packed up.

I am hoping to keep the pedals as they are kind of special.
so it comes without a saddle or pedals which isnt that unusual, plus the racks are £50 each so you may or may not want them.
Its a great bike for £1100 and even more great for £950
you're welcome to come and try it out.
cheers,
Matt

I'm sure that would clean up a treat for someone.

It really is in great condition! Im definitely not selling it very well with the muddy frame..
I'm gonna go and give it a wash now.. Just had someone email me on ebay having a dig about the dirt!
I'm just gutted to be selling it really.
Will try and do some more pics when its cleaned up..

Hi Matt,
I'm quite dopey at the best of times and especially so with regard to understanding bike geometry. Would you or indeed any of the more learned forum members here be able to let me know what size person this bike would potentially suit. I'm 6ft 2ish with a 33cm inside leg and I'm not sure if I would be better off with a slightly larger frame.

If you download the RT brochure here (http://web.archive.org/web/20070818182912/http://www.thorncycles.co.uk/thornpdf/ThornRavenTourBroLoRes.pdf) and scroll down to page 9, you'll find frame dimensions and some advice about sizing. It depends on your riding style, though, and whether you want the current straight bars or drop bars.
I bought a s/h RT which like the above was a Short frame (generally intended for drop bars) with straight bars on it. I found it far too short and upright. It wasn't a problem though as I prefer drop bars anyway and once I'd made the change over I found it very comfortable. (I fitted Origin 8 bar-ends which work fine.)

Hey Donerol,
Thanks for the link, that's very helpful. I have some study to do.:)
-
Hi, sorry i didn't see this sooner...
I am 6ft 2 and i would say i am at the upper limit of what is right for this frame. My inside leg is 32
Cheers,
Matt
