Anto,
I saw a small framed bike in there that looks to be your size!
I should keep well away if you want your new toy built up. I bet they use a hammer to straighten wheels.... ;D ;D ;D

What a great wee film....very poignant. Enjoyed that very much.
The last time I was in Edinburgh, I walked into a bike shop, ha, or should I say, 'boutique.' It had on display several road bikes, on pedestals, mostly 'Specialized' brand. ( (all carbon fibre ) I asked the salesman if he could bring me up to speed on the latest bikes on offer, as my road bike is a late '70's Carlton.
'Well,' he replied, and gesticulated toward the first bike 'That's a three,' moved his finger to the next pedestal,
'and that's a four, that's a six, and THAT'S a SEVEN.' he looked knowledgeable but I couldn't help but notice the complete lack of oil on his fingers.
'Whudjamean?' says I.
'Grand,' he replied smugly.
Then came an explanation of the electronickery involved in a mere shift of cog.
Yawn....
'Could I tour on anything here,?' I enquired....
'Oh, I don't know about that,' he said, 'think I would use aluminium or better still, a steel frame for that lark...'
'That's fine then, that's just wat I've got ( xtc), I declaed triumphantly, and left. Underwhelmed.
This film was a great reminder of the way things were, and, in my opinion, ought to be, still.
Lovely stuff, Jags.
