Title: Veloscenic - Northern France
Post by: lewis noble on December 22, 2014, 02:32:58 PM
Thinking about rides for next year . . . .

Has anyone done the Veloscenic from Paris (or Chartres) to Mont St Michel? If so, how was it and which direction did you go?  I am thinking about that for next year, possibly linking inh with Brittany Ferries to St Malo and Bike Bus . . . . .

Any feedback welcome.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Lewis

Hi Lewis, I've not done the veloscenic but did do the tour de manche this year.  This included the section Mt St Michel to St Malo.  I stayed in Hotel Verte at Mt St Michel which was adequate and easy access for an evening visit across the causeway.  I then road from there to St Cast le Guido passing through St Malo around midday and taking the ferry to Dinard.  IIRC this was a very pleasant, gently rolling section of an excellent route.
