Title: Nomad forks
Post by: one arm bandit on December 20, 2014, 04:24:02 PM
Are the forks on the Mk1 the same as on the Mk 2?

I'm not quite sure where the Mt Tura forks fit in as they are suspension corrected. I know that they could replace the sus forks on my Ripio but are they aimed at other Thorn models or just at other brands of front suspension bikes?

While not answering your question, I can say that the Nomad Mk II frame is designed for either the solid Thorn fork that comes with it or a 100mm (of travel) suspension fork.  You can do a word search in their Nomad Mk II brochure for "100mm" to quickly find the reference to the discussion of forks.

I have used both the solid fork and a 100mm Rock Shox fork on my Nomad Mk II, both work well.
