Just updated my blog with the most recent trip from Poole to Santdander on my trusty Sherpa which has now clocked 11,000 miles

There is a Sherpa frame on Ebay that I think would suit you! Its bright red...lovely.

nah not ready for another one just yet i nearly have a super dooper carbon jobbie bought stayed tuned i'll know next week.
nothing wrong with sherpa but been there time for another adventure ::).

Thanks for the kind words.

I love reading other people's blogs and info about tours so thought others might like to see mine.

one thing i found good about actually doing a blog ( apart from letting others see ) is that you have a reference point to look at in other trips. for example , i've done this (similar) trip before and forgot the name of a campsite and or mileage to it and the cost of things . Having the blog done i can access it when i'm out there.

The only thing I didn't spot on your blog was a map. Maybe I missed it.  As a cartophile I think in pictures!

HI Geocycle

we didn't use GPS or anything modern like that so don't have an actual plotted route.
It's a nice idea to put a map on there though. I'll have a word with my mate and see what we can come up with.
