copied from the 'Audax Ecosse' Facebook group (via Dave Crampton):
"The Adventure Show is going to be broadcast on Tuesday 9th December at 7pm on BBC2 Scotland. Its available on Terestrial/freeview, Sky and cable. It will be available on BBC iPlayer for 30 days after transmission."
It's a segment on the 1300km (18,000m climbing) 'The Highlands, Glens & Western Isles' audax.
Here's the trailer :

might be of interest to some long-distancers...

Oh yes!
1300 Km in 100 hours?
Where did I put my bicycle clips?
Amazing. Can't wait to watch it with my feet up in front of the fire, gripping tightly a single malt.
Nice trailer. I have been lucky enough to cycle most of that route so recognised the locations.
And good to see Scottish scenery at its best.

So... Can I assume from this video there's not one car in all of western Scotland? ;)
That's not quite how I remember it. But it is a breathtaking place, and cycling 1,300 km of it will certainly take your breath, regardless of how long you need to ride it. :)

I am also looking forward to watching that as I cycled some of the route on my JOGLE. I would have liked to cycle the rest of the west coast too across to Durness, but unfortunately time did not allow me to. Glad I did not have to do it in 100 hours though!

it was a Sunday ;-)

Watched this on the BBC Iplayer last night, what absolutely stunning views, showing Scotland at it's best

Thanks for the iPlayer hint.
After making all that fuss about how good it was going to be, I missed it!

It was very enjoyable seeing these 'nuts' being a danger to themselves and other road users, falling asleep whilst riding!
Overall well worth watching.
Just nice to see other Touring style bikes too but nothing outstandingly desirable.
