Quick ride down the old railway track, first impression feels great, thumbies felt natural and brooks didn't hurt a bit, no squeaks or rattles. Weight wise comes in at 14kg as is.

Safely tucked away till I've added lights and computer, removed the low riders, then go for a longer ride on Sunday

Gorgeous looking bike. I really do like that colour scheme, same as Jags Audax. The black Brooks really finishes it off along with the Ergon GP5 grips which I find so comfortable. Enjoy.

Looks absolutely fantastic! All congratulations on a corker of a new ride!

Many, many happy miles and years ahead for you together, methinks.

Very nice  :)

Do you mind if I ask what that seat post is? It looks to be a Thorn with extra layback, but I can't see one like it anywhere on the website. I think I might like one of those myself.

Looks like the standard thorn one you get with frames. Same as mine on my audax.

The seat post is the standard option from the online brochure, at least I never ordered anything else.

Almost, its one we use if the setup dimensions require a bit more layback http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/thorn-micro-adjust-alloy-seat-post-with-thorn-logo-black-prod22890/ they alsom come as standard on the Thorn Audax.
