My best buy.

SMART 1/2 Watt Rear LED light.  Brighter than my CATEYE and much cheaper at just £12.

After our Santana Tandem, and RST of course my Optilabs prescription, photochromatic cycling glasses. Absolutely brilliant. No more flies, grit or wind in the eyes. They have really improved the cycling experience.[8D]

Cateye EL410 front lamp- lightweight, very flexible mount, useful as a secondary lamp/or torch on tour,
Gore Touring jacket -not sure these are still available, but one of the few cycling specific goretex jackets with useful pockets and a detachable hood.

A  Buff  (http://"http://www.bandanashop.com/buffwear_ADFS.asp?gclid=CP-AxaGvqokCFSoMQgodWwUJtA")
So simple yet so effective.  I was a bit disappointed when I first got it, £12 seemed a lot of money for a small tube of material, it soon proved it’s worth.  It packs down to almost nothing so I always carry it on the bike and I’ve used it as a sweatband, scarf, cap and balaclava.  I’ve been so impressed I’ve bought a few as Christmas presents.
For the bike I’ve bought very little this year, largely due to the Raven I’ve reached the point I thought would never come, there’s nothing I think I need.  I might give the new SJS bar ends a try when they come out, but that’s next year.

I've also got a sort of tube like buff made of fleece material,  http://www.bandanashop.com/buffwear_ADFS.asp?gclid=CP-AxaGvqokCFSoMQgodWwUJtA, stops drafts going down my neck. Brilliant today which seemed colder than yesterday.
