Title: If you're in Athens: Flamme-Rouge cycle cafe bar
Post by: Andre Jute on October 13, 2014, 06:32:25 PM
My Greek sketching and cycling pal, an erstwhile staff member of one of the better British cycling magazines, sent a sketch she made in her cycle cafe.

Of course some would curl up in an apoplectic fit at the thought of a cyclists' caff that sells liquor.

But this ain't Le Caff Poseur, this is the real thing.

Beer is the original hi carbohydrate energy drink. The Germans even call it liquid bread  :D

Bottoms up!

Hey Andre, I'll have what they're having! (Actually, I feel like I just did, as I can't read those funny letters on the page... It's Greek to me ! :D  ;D)

Graham's (Vintagetourer's) Audax would fit right in to a club with that name.  ;)

CTC Groups go out riding and from what I can make of it most (start and) finish in a Pub!
