After buying our new tandem we checked out a large number of cycle specific insurances and discovered the prices were very high. Our last tandem was covered specifically as a named item with our house contents insurance. The insurer would not do this for the new tandem for some reason. We found SAGA would, I double checked and phoned them to check again and they have proved not only to insure the bike but also to be cheaper than our previous contents and the bike is covered home and away. A great saving all round.
