Title: New B&M tail-light
Post by: il padrone on October 24, 2013, 12:12:34 pm
There are a couple of new B&M tail-lights about now that look very interesting

The Secula Plus (http://www.rosebikes.com/article/b--m-secula-plus-back-light-for-assembly-on-seat-stay-or-seat-post/aid:709311) in a seat-stay mount

or mudguard mount (http://www.rosebikes.com/article/b--m-secula-plus-back-light-can-be-mounted-on-mudguards/aid:709307)

And the Toplight View Plus (http://www.rosebikes.com/article/b--m-toplight-view-plus-dynamo-backlight/aid:684726) - a variation on the Toplight Line plus with stylish shape and two LED-illuminated lines

Maybe a long shot, but does anyone have any experience with these Busch & Mueller lights? I am particularly interested in how they compare with the Philips Saferide SRRDLGBLX1 (http://www.philips.co.uk/c/Bicycle%20bulbs/led-bike-lights-lightring-dynamo-driven-srrdlgblx1/prd/).

Thanks
Andrew

Maybe a long shot...
Hi Andrew!

I have not yet seen a direct comparison, and it is hard for me to make a fair determination between the two based on the reviews I've seen so far.

Take heart; more information should be coming soon as more of these are seen and used in the field and user-reports and reviews begin to trickle in. If any of us spot anything useful along these lines, it'll appear here.

Best,

Dan.

I found a review on the Philips and the Secula and also got some feedback on the Philips mounts.  That pretty much decided me in favour of the Secula.
