The Red Bike has been Glazed
« on: October 25, 2023, 09:50:02 pm »
I must share this joyful gift.

My eldest son is doing pottery and ceramics as a hobby.
He’s making family and friends personalised gifts.
Mine is this beautiful bowl featuring my favourite and most ridden bike, the red Thorn Audax.

Wonderful.  If he's ever looking to move on from pottery, I believe there might be an opening at Thorn for a designer.

Brilliant, Graham!  Our best to your son.

Love the Down Unda Brightness, BTW:  we're still some weeks away from the winter solstice, and Friday's forecast high is -5, with an overnight low of -15.  Sunny days, tho' (he said, grasping at whatever straw comes to hand.)

Cheers,  John
