Jura, France
« on: July 29, 2014, 02:36:46 pm »
I will be 'signing off' the Forum shortly, as we are spending >4 weeks in the Jura, Eastern France.  Lovely scenery, rolling hills, weather usually not too scorching hot . . . .

We will be camping at Domaine de Chalain, at the eastern end of Lac de Chalain.  Nearest village Doucier, between Lons le Saunier and Champagnole.  Blue campervan, sailing dinghy, 4 bikes, (blue Thorn, 2 Ridgebacks and an old Condor.  Parked on Allee Berlioz.  If anyone is in the area, feel free to call by!!

Happy cycling everyone and stay safe.

Lewis

Enjoy, Lewis!  Neighbours here in Ottawa used to live in France & work in Geneva, so we visited a couple of times, and really enjoyed hiking in the Jura.  Great countryside for cycling.
