My Speedhub is about 4 years old and has been ridden for about 7000 km. Oil has been changed yearly according to Rohloffs specifications.
Some weeks ago, I noticed that the gear shifter was very hard to turn, I'd need to put an effort to go throug all 14 gears. I decided to try an oil change, which solved the problem. However, I noticed that the drained oil had a much darker appearance than before - dark silvery/glittering grey.
Is normal, or a symptom of some impending problem?
