Would you wear this in public?
« on: November 23, 2013, 06:15:22 pm »
This is Look's Proteam bib tight:

Just for Dan there are now two copies of the pic from different sources, adequately spaced apart, I hope. If you still can't see it, try http://www.xxcycle.com/bib-tight-proteam-black-red-2013,,en.php

It looks like a fellow with a shaven chest wearing a lady's girdle with red garters and stockings, and showing a bit of winter-grey flesh between the stockings and the girdle.

Wicked! But would you wear it?

E&OE. Also what consenting adults wear in their bedrooms. I'm talking only about what you would wear on the bike, so keep it clean, ladies.

Dunno! Can't see the image. Maybe they were too risqué for the site? Didn't see anything like that in the inventory at XX Cycles (it really might all be in the name with clothing descriptions like that!  :D ). I'd have to see a picture first.

I got pulled into an unexpected clothing choice recently with some Adidas trainers. They came in black with hot-pink trim, the sales intended to raise monies for breast-cancer research (pink is the charity's color). Good cause, decent shoe, reduced price okay.

So they arrived, much "pinker" than expected based on the monitor view.

Of course they won't wear out, despite using them for my daily 5mi/8km walks. Best walking shoes I've ever owned, despite the color. The green ones are worn nearly bald in half the time.

You've got to fix that link, Andre.

Best,

Dan (...who is sometimes too frugal for his own good)

Ah! The photo just came up for me.

Sure! Definitely. Yes. Can't see why not. With a jersey on top, they'd just look like ordinary tights with a splash of grey and red on the thigh. But then, I am an old roadie who is used to bright colors in my riding gear. I make up for it by making sure all my cold-weather cycling clothes are black, the better to absorb warmth from weak early-morning sunlight.

Best,

Dan. (...who definitely would if the price was right)

Only if it came with a proper shirt and slacks.  Thinking no shirt no service.

Hi All
Do you all not cycle any mile's? If you do and the temperature is below 16C you need to wear them! to save you knee's!
You also need to wear a warm top to keep warm! if you see a photo of men wearing underwear DO YOU ALL think that you do not wear Pants  ???

I have seen a Photo of a Bicycle Frame! It looks like hard work going up and down hill's with No Wheels  ::)

All very well but 'comfort' breaks could be tricky?

Mmm. It seems to me likely that fellow got a body like that by ingesting neither fluid nor solids and living instead on a daily handful of pills swallowed dry.
