That was 7:36 of my life well-spent! :D Just look at that technique...dropping the inside knee to lower the center-of-gravity, and clipping those apexes with razor precision. Darned motorcycles; geddouddadaway! Team cars, too! Scoot! Comin' through at warp speed...

this is a great thread clever stuff dan well done...
one of my all time favourates is when steven roach chased down delgardo in the 87 tour he hit over 70mph on that decent ah if only i knew how to dig up tv footage of that 87 tour magic.

Oh! I remember that, jags! Epic. Man, couldn't Roche ride? I don't think I found footage of the downhill, but I did find Roche/Delgado's duel to the uphill finish here (1987, at La Plagne):
