And on You and All, Sir!  Thank you kindly!

A toast to All ~

"May you be poor in misfortune,
rich in blessings,
slow to make enemies
and quick to make friends.
And may you know nothing but happiness in the New Year ahead."

All the best,

Dan.

Early/late New Year's wishes everyone's way from Out West, where I'm about 8 hours behind most of you, 9-10 behind others, and a whopping 19-22 hours or so behind those in Australia and New Zealand (including the one hour daylight-savings time you're enjoying in summer!).

Nice to have "advance scouts" to to give me a heads-up on what lies ahead; thanks!  :D

Happy New Year to All! Happy 2014!

All the best,

Dan. (...who resolves to get more sleep this year)

Best wishes to all, and all your families, in the coming year.

An old Irish blessing, adapted for those who live life on 2 wheels:

'May soft breezes caress your cheek,
And the gentle sun warm your back.
May the passing rains refresh you,
And the beckoning road not rise up to meet you.'

Off to open the champagne early... I'll raise a glass to all my pedal pals, real and virtual (that's you guys on the forum here), for entertainment, companionship and motivation. And to the bike, which my physician says is what keeps me alive. Amen!
