Narrow Bars
« on: March 03, 2010, 12:50:52 pm »

Hi Guys,

I know its all down to the cyclist in the end. But I was wondering when using
narrow bars what your opinion is? Whether you find them comfortable for
long tours i.e one year or longer & or would you recommend using something
longer, or butterfly design?

My own preference was to have wide bars so I could fit Ergon grips, Cane Creek bar ends and Thorn Carbon bar-ends (mounted inboard like tiny aero bars).

That gave me a nice variety of hand positions. The inboard bar-ends also let you tuck in against the wind.
