I ride a 590L and am the same height as you. Perhaps a change of bars, seat post and handle bar stem might help?

It is unfortunate that it is not quite the right size.  I am quite happy with my Nomad Mk II, but I had a couple other bikes that fit me quite well and I could use the measurements from those to decide which frame size to buy. 

I do not think mine will ever be as clean as yours is.
