Considering the premium price of the X1, I’m less than impressed by the mileages you and others have reported. I would bet money your X8 goes further, both absolutely and relative to cost than the X1.

Agreed. I'm not sure why I went with the X1 given the premium price. Not like me; short arms, deep pockets!😉
Put it down to research.
So we will see how the X8 pans out.
I'll certainly be keeping up my stats.
I also keep records for tires, rings/ sprockets & brake pads.
And yes, I do have too much time on my hands.
