The rear disc is in fact Hope tech 4 hydraulic.
Good Choice, So's ours :D .

Of course you can always prove the GWR guard wrong by splitting the bike and putting her in the rack anyway  8) Although I'm not sure how that would work with the hydraulic cable run. Do you have a dry fit coupling, or is it a remove the lever, and unclip the tube from the J guides?

Remove the cable etc, we have done it previously on day rides when we’ve train assisted and ridden home, but it’s a faff on the platform luggage off etc etc. Our colour choice was because we paid for the S&S couplers. Hoping to get out on her after the wheel set rebuild with the Schmidt’s son 28 going on and new Andra rims front and back, while that’s being done I’m recabling inners and outers.
