I want my bike back!

I am thinking of selling my Thorn Club Tour. As I was trying to gauge what price I should ask I came across the following bike with pic. Is this LeftPoole? I always admired his stable of steeds and thought I could remember him having this bike. Looking a little closer tho I think the raised saddle might not be his fit. I believe he was selling one or a number of his steeds recently.

Clearly someone wants his gal back!

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D It is indeed my bike! I occasionally post adverts in various places under WANTED.
I use this photograph to show the type of bike I am looking for (or frameset). It is set exactly to my size.
The photograph was taken near Slimbridge in Gloucestershire some years ago.
Well spotted.

Procrastination. Procrastination. Procrastination!

Just like my self.

But now yer selling agin! And lots more things and stuff!

CTC via E Bay...or t'other way round,I dont know.

Me thinks you have made the right decision, tho I'm sorta backwards in putting my own foot down.

Think I would be satisfied in keeping 3 bikes(town jobbie, folder and all round touring job)

I like the idea of a camper. But what one bike would you keep Leftpoole: Brompton only? And no one other?

Happy travelling and travels. May the sun be on yer back....the Irish blessing anyways. Were all above ground and not beneath it,anyways. Best wishes

Love your writing style!
I am finally making the better decision for my life. Ignoring others and getting on with what I am able and unable to do.
I cannot ride miles and miles, I cannot get up of the floor easily if camping and it is indeed very very difficult to get into and out of a Cycle campers sized tent. I have kept buying when my mind was set and selling if things were going badly. It has lost me a great deal of money, time and my health refuses to improve.
I have only me to look after myself/shopping for food etc/ gardening/ washing everything! Plus looking after cycles.
I have already sold my Brompton, my Birdy, my Condor. Next hopefully with some sadness, the red and blue Audax 853. I hope to keep my Raven Sport (Rohloff) and another of my 2 Audax 853.
I have a Sherpa frame wheels and parts to build, plus a new Audax MK3 R  frame with 853 forks (in red) which I should possibly have most parts for a build.
These two will at some point be sold.
I will be selling my 2001 BMW 330D Sportwagen and with some luck and a tailwind may be able to scrape enough together to buy a pretty old Campervan (small if possible). At least then I would have Camping made easy (I have owned campers when younger) and a bike to ride when I am able.
I have had a long time deciding and changing my mind but I simply cannot do anymore, the things I want to.
I am 70 and age and health have hit me hard. This Pandemic has made me think more about things.
I hope that I have not rambled or left anything out.
Best regards to you and to the rest of the group.
John

If you want a cheap camper, you want a Boot Jump. Its become the generic term for a wooden box that lifts in and out of the boot of a Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner or similar. So you can have a normal (cheap to buy and run) car during the week and have a camper at weekends. If you search for Amdro Boot Jump you'll see the kind of thing. There are other cheaper makes or you can self build (like I've done) for around £100 all in.
