Mk 1 Thorn Audax restoration
« on: June 11, 2020, 10:20:15 pm »
Hi all. Thought you might be interested in seeing my Audax Mk1 project.

I have a project thread over here on Retrobike; http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=411628

Almost done with the paint finishing, and I'm aiming to get it built later next week sometime.

This is the current state of paint progress; just some Reynolds decals and more clear and it's done. Have a look at the thread for more in depth stuff. :)

Welcome!
It is tough going restoring.
I have viewed the writeup on the link, very good. I particularly like the photograph of my red and blue Audax 853! It is nice to read complimentary comment by other people on other Forums.
I had no idea the particular Forum existed until your link.
Very best regards and I hope that you enjoy some time building and of course riding.
John

Now that is a joy to lift the spirits of even the most curmudgeonly viewer.
The backdrop works very well too.
Thanks for the share
