Greetings and well-wishes from Alfie
« on: April 11, 2020, 11:35:08 pm »
Hi All!

I just received a communiqué from longtime (2013) member Alfie I'll share with you at his request:
Quote
Hi Dan
Its been a while since i last visited the forum. I just called in to say that i hope you are well and the members are keeping their self safe wherever they are in the world.  Give them all my best wishes and when things are back to normality you must come to Bonnie Scotland for the haggis hunting season  ;).  stay safe .

Regards Alfie  :)
As an American I was initially unsure about the intricacies of haggis hunting, but thanks to an Instructables tutorial, I'm all ready and looking forward to it! ;)

In the same spirit, I invite you all to hunt snipe(occasionally real)... http://whoonew.com/2013/03/snipe-hunting-wisconsin/
...and jackalope with me if you happen to visit Oregon: https://www.ancient-origins.net/myths-legends-americas/jackalope-0011623

We do, of course, have Sasquatch/Bigfoot, but they are not game animals, only for sightings. A bicycle is the ideal vehicle for stalking, a pursuit I often enjoy.

Best,

Dan.

And greetings from a fellow Scottish resident.
After hunting down the Haggi you may like to try our midges. An acquired taste....
Never drink and drive. You may hit a bump  and spill your drink

It was quite easy to develop a taste for a wee dram but I never developed one for the wee beasties.
