I am sure yopu could get the local colledge to design a good practical chain case for not much money. if Honda motorcycles have one why can'nt I on the mecury

Do a search of the archives for "Chainglider" (no quotes) made by Hebie. These have proven reliable and practical for many.

Or, look for a 60 or 70 year old Raleigh to take the the chain guard off of.
