Riding with Pete (Il Padrone)
« on: July 29, 2018, 08:08:04 am »
Although we live in adjoining suburbs our paths rarely intersect but today Pete joined our KBTC ride on his trusty Nomad while I rode my Mercury and we had a good chat during the ride.

We did discuss the Thorn double crown disc brake fork which Pete has just ordered and agreed that it looked just like the old Thorn double crown fork (as fitted to Pete's Nomad and my tandem) with the addition of the disc brake fitting.

The real money is on when you go electric, Anto. :) Makes sense given your sore back and feet and it would flatten those Irish hills, making cycling more enjoyable for you.  :)

All the best,

Dan.

Did someone say electric?? Really considering future purchase of one of these as a  second-car-replacement in the not-too-distant future  ;D

Anto you are too young to even consider an E-bike.
If you want to be happy learn to be alone without being lonely.
If you want to enjoy the world see it from the saddle of a bike.
If you want to experience beauty camp alone in a spectacular place.
If you want release your anxieties cease excuses and take actions.

E-Bikes are no longer age related !
(Recent stay in Geneva proved that !)
