Replacing a Pace RC31 fork
« on: May 06, 2018, 06:58:31 am »
I need to replace a Pace RC31 fork after 10 years on my Thorn Sterling. This winter my city used calcium chloride on bike paths, which destroyed the magnesium dropouts - they literally turned to white dust which crumbled away when I removed the wheel! Any suggestions for replacement?

I'm using rim brakes with a dynamo headlight and mudguards on a Thorn Sterling. Moving to disc brakes is definitely an option.

Regards,
Niels
