Rohloff hole for oil
« on: July 01, 2017, 01:24:58 pm »
Hi All,

I did an oil change today and when I removed the screw it looks like the hole is slightly blocked with only a small gap into the hub for the oil to go. I've tried to highlight this in the photos and apologise for the quality in advance. When I originally got the hub and filled it with oil I seem to remember that the hole was obstruction free but I may be wrong. Is there an issue with what you see in the photos or is everything okay? I'm just wondering if something has slid to partially cover the hole.

(A parent's Rule for Daily Life:)  "Sometimes it's best not to look."

Thanks for the reassuring comment, Rual :-)

Thanks for the reassurance. I agree, it's probably best not to look but I can't help myself :)

Yes, that's normal. It panicked me one time as it looks as if the innards have twisted but no need to worry.
