the socks don't weigh anything worth mentioning  everything else i reckon i'm going to need over a week  cycling.

i seam sealed the tent last night sure hope it holds up to irish weather.

to be totally honest this tour might not come off.
i was out cycling with the group yesterday and suffered like a dog for most of the 40 miles we did.bloody back of mine is crackin me up wasn't the better of it today

but i'll keep going and pray things get better ,i'm not going to go with the group anymore great bunch and all as they are but i'm just under to much pressure so nice and easy solo rides from now on..

Stick with it Anto. I'm sure you will enjoy travelling at your own pace with no pressure on you. You can go as fast or as slow as you like or stop when you like. A far more enjoyable experience than hunting in a pack.

Latest from Anto on his 2 April ride...

Spin today, only twenty odd miles with a few hills throw in. That's Monasterboice graveyard, a great tourist spot. I got talking to two Australians -- nice couple enjoying their tour of Ireland. There's a lot of history on that cross, no idea what, u would have to google it  .
