Thorns Keep Appearing

i was at South Stack Anglesey and saw a Thorn tandem and two solo Thorn's riding to South Stack then today at a Garden Centre near Macclesfield a Thorn Nomad was left outside. I haven't seen one for months then in the course of 4 days I see 4 what is happening?
