Yes. A good rule-of-thumb is about 1000 pixels in the largest dimension (width or height). When you resize, sometimes you can specify the percentage of reduction and sometimes the actual size in pixels. Just be sure to keep the same aspect ratio, so the picture isn't squashed or stretched.

Mat, for some reason I am unable to see any pictures in your posts. Are the pics visable to all others on the forum?

I can't see them in Firefox, but I can in Chrome.  Not sure if it is the browser or something else inside my computer.
