With thanks to Forum member BillC who was kind enough to "experiment" with me, we have now "discovered" html tags can be embedded in Forum Personal Messages.
This is especially nice because there is no way to directly attach/upload photos to messages, and might come in especially handy for communicating about bikes or products for sale.
To embed html tags, your images must be stored on a server or hosting site elsewhere (Picasa, Flickr, eBay, etc). When composing your message, just click on the "Insert Image" icon, located to the left above the text entry box, then insert the link to where your photo is stored.
