Title: which cycle computer?
Post by: davefife on August 30, 2006, 07:21:06 am
Recommendations based on experience please, only need a basic model, no need for cadence or calories used etc, wireless prefered, shower proof and reliable.  I am not too price sensitive but like vfm.
thanks

Personally I don't get on with cycle computers.  (I always seam to brake them!) I would put the money towards a cheap waterproof GPS.  I use an Etrex, it has all the functions of a basic cycle computer and is easy to use. Cost approx. £60 including P&P –from Ebay

I agree in recommending the Sigma BC 800. At first I used it on the wired mount, but about 18 months ago shifted to the wireless mount.
