Hi All!
Ratio (an Italian maker of components and frames, http://ratiobikedesign.com/ ) have just introduced a series of seatposts with adjustable offset (there's a little track, much like the old SR MTE-100 seapost from the mid/late-1980s. OvalConcepts had a version of their own awhile back, as do Velo Orange and Nitto; all those have a fixed long-offset). What makes these by Ratio a bit different is the use of a carbon-fiber cradle on some models and user-adjustable offset on all versions.

Though the terms used vary by locale, some of us need a seatpost that puts the clamp a bit farther back. I use the Thorn version supplied by Zoom, available here: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/thorn-micro-adjust-alloy-seat-post-with-large-lay-back-400mm-x-272mm-prod23725/ It allows me to set the clamp dead-center in the rails of my Brooks B.17 saddle, reducing strain on the Brooks' otherwise short rails (Brooks has never updated their steel rails to match the more upright frames popular today. As a consequence, it can be hard to get the proper position with many of the zero-offset or low-offset seatposts popular today).
If you're experimenting, the Ratio adjustable-offset posts might be the answer to a difficult fitting problem. In any case, Ratio have a lot of carbon goodies to ponder and view on their site.
