Title: RST - which Prop Stand?
Post by: Milemuncher on November 09, 2011, 06:32:53 pm
I am thinking of add a prop stand onto my RST.  I'd appreciate any and all advice on makes or models that might be suitable or well proven to be reliable.  Norman

Norman,

I can heartily endorse the Click-Stand.  For my earlier post on it and a photo of it propping up my Sherpa, see:

Lightweight, no possibility for frame damage, and incredibly solid and secure.  For the first time, I can load my bike myself with *no hassle*.  That means a lot when carrying a full load including 14.7liters of water and a week's worth of rations, solo.

The Click-Stand is only part of the equation; just as important are the little bungee loops that hold the brake levers shut, and are included with it.

Best,

Dan.

Thanks, Dan.  Yes, I really like the look of it.  And the web site show the 'maker' has a nice sense of humour.  I'm going to order one, just need to remember to measure up the bike.  Norman
