New build project. Painted by Bob Jackson..bravely chose pink !
-
Lovin' on the color, Brummie. It matches future plans for my Fixie respray.
That is still my favorite Thorn lettering style. :)
Best,
Dan.

Thanks Dan ! - Collected today in person from Mr Kevin Sayles, who kindly brazed his signature 'S' within the heart on the seat tube.
-
Yeah, Brummie!
In my view, it couldn't be better!
All the best,
Dan.

awesome I'm envious 8)
if only you'd had those stainless braze on's fitted to bottom of the head tube to prevent cable rub that woodrup use on their frames, such a good idea
is Kevin at Bob's now? last i heard he was at Woodrup (don't have social media so don't keep up to date with the news)
it deserves one of those humpert aheadsets with the built in steering stops, save the handlebars damaging the paint/top tube

rude I know but was the paint job and braze on done at mates rates? irc you used to work with Mr Sayles?

You can polish with very fine Emery paper to remove the paint from the headbadge.

It's not pink! It's in-yer-face night-glow Fuchsia!
You can tell I love it. The XTC is altogether a beautifully proportioned bicycle.

Hello,
Perfect job. I get frames refinished by Argos in Bristol. They sometimes mask off headbadge at extra cost
or I let them rub off after painting. It looks the same either way.
The colour of the opening posters frame is fabulous.
